    A pretty nice hotel with very affordable accommodations. The staff is very helpful but beware some pricey excursion offers - always be ready to look elsewhere. Nice view from the rooftop where they have an open type restaurant.

    Yes it was great.I remember our Russian Friends,Ola,Lousa,Olechka, Dr Oscahi,the Russian movies (particularly the war movies in black and white,the broaches with the erstwhile CCCP,the sleepy gardener and Sudama the cook!! Our two jeeps 7673 and 7674 that were allotted to Dad as Chief Controller of R&D. The CWD class steam locos that used to pull in the shuttle between Hardwar and Rishikesh.The poultry farm which we save from a blaze with the help of the IDPL fire brigade and the presents we received in the form of three lovely chickens which grew up to become a part of the family- "Sameface,Boom Boom and Charlie". I wonder what happened to our friends,Vivek Gupta,Arun and Uday Nadkarni,Ajay Arora,Malkeet Singh,etc.. Palak
